Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Technical Support/Training Intern to join our Security team in Canton, GA, on a hybrid schedule three days in the office each week. You will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, customer support, technical documentation, and training development while contributing to product education.

You’ll work with experienced teams to resolve routine questions, create learning resources, and help improve support processes, strengthening your communication and documentation

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Instructional Design, or Communications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, or cloud-based applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Customer-focused, curious, and organized; eager to learn and respond to feedback.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and common productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Review, document, and resolve routine technical support inquiries under supervision.
• Help reproduce reported issues, gather information, and escalate complex matters with clear notes.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders through approved channels.
• Create, update, and organize troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles, FAQs, and other resources.
• Support instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training materials and assist with scheduling and communication.
• Test training exercises, product demos, and documentation for accuracy and usability.
• Track recurring questions to identify product, process, and learning improvements.
• Maintain accurate records in support, learning, and documentation systems and participate in team meetings.
