Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited in Canton, OH is seeking a Technical Support/Training Intern to join the Security team for a May 2027 start. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting, documentation, training development, and product education in a hybrid office setting.

You will assist with reviewing inquiries, reproducing issues, creating knowledge resources, and supporting training materials while building practical technical capability in a global organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, or cloud-based applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
• Customer-focused approach, curiosity, and willingness to learn and respond to feedback
• Strong organization and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple assignments independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial review, documentation, and resolution of routine technical support inquiries
• Help reproduce reported issues, gather relevant information, and escalate complex matters with clear notes
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
• Create, update, and organize troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles, FAQs, job aids, and other resources
• Support instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training materials and assist with scheduling and follow-up
