Socket Fiber is hiring for an in-person Technical Support Representative I in Columbia, Missouri. You will be the main contact for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting new user set-ups while helping improve our knowledge base. This is a full-time, in-office role in a busy call center.

You will handle technical queries, collaborate across tiers and departments, and back up the customer service line when needed. A calm, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to handle phone interactions professionally.
• Accurate data entry with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical queries from current customers.
• Receive training on new technologies or products.
• Document and update known problems and solutions; notify Tier II as needed.
• Interact with Tiers, supervisors, and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
• Act as a backup to the Customer Service inbound phone queue.
