Location: Remote (Candidates must be located in Romania)

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support across SonicWall product lines via phone, web, and email.
2. Assist customers with deploying SonicWall network security products such as firewalls, IPS, and VPN solutions.
3. Offer technical solutions and workarounds for customer issues related to the product lines.
4. Manage customer issues from initial contact through resolution.
5. Diagnose problems and provide resolutions for technical and service issues.
6. Use troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify defective products and follow guidelines for service calls.
7. Educate customers within procedural guidelines to ensure comprehensive solutions.
8. Identify and provide input on recurring or unique customer problems.
9. Deliver a positive customer experience aligned with SonicWall standards.
10. Monitor and track issues to ensure accurate resolution.
11. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to replicate issues, validate bug fixes, and resolve customer concerns professionally.
12. Provide feedback to the team on supported products.
13. Maintain knowledge of SonicWall products and related industry technologies.

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of security, LAN/WAN topologies, and related technologies.
2. Deep knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, and network security basics.
3. Ability to work effectively in high-stress, interrupt-driven environments.
4. Good understanding of Layer 2-7 networking protocols and major operating systems such as UNIX/Linux.
5. Proficiency in troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and Netmon.
6. Routing and switching knowledge is a plus.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Electronic & Communications Engineering, or related fields.
2. 2-4 years of networking and network security support experience with solid knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies and technologies.
3. Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, routing protocols like OSPF, RIP, BGP, and security solutions like firewalls and IDS/IPS is advantageous.
