Broadleaf Inc is seeking an IT Technician for a full-time temporary position at our Hardware Depot in Millersville, MD. You will handle trouble tickets, imaging/encrypting devices, and shipping IT gear while keeping a tidy warehouse.

The role requires IT hardware familiarity, attention to detail, and flexibility to meet business needs. Responsibilities include processing tickets, verifying imaged devices, shipping with UPS, and assisting with receiving bulk shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 0–2 years IT support experience.
• Ability to pass SSA Suitability Check.
• Flexibility to work a later shift (7AM-7PM).
• Familiarity with IT hardware and logistics.
• Imaging and encrypting devices experience is a plus.
• Basic computer repair and IT troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack.
• Willingness to load/unload trucks; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process trouble tickets and coordinate with the SSA Help Desk to troubleshoot IT issues.
• Follow imaging/encrypting procedures for laptops/tablets/workstations and maintain accuracy.
• Test imaged/encrypted devices before shipment to end users worldwide.
• Ship IT equipment via UPS and coordinate pickups.
• Receive and manage bulk IT shipments from vendors, unload pallets and distribute in warehouse.
• Perform laptop repairs following documented procedures and diagnose common hardware issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse with accessible equipment.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Broadleaf Inc is looking for an IT Technician to join our team on a full-time temporary basis at our Hardware Depot in Millersville, MD. This role involves processing trouble tickets, imaging and encrypting devices, shipping and receiving IT equipment, performing laptop repairs, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with IT hardware and software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work on a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Process trouble tickets and coordinate with the SSA Help Desk to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
• Follow established procedures for imaging and encrypting laptops, tablets, and workstations while maintaining a near error-free standard.
• Test imaged and encrypted devices before preparing them for shipment to end users worldwide.
• Ship IT equipment via UPS, ensuring all items are properly weighed before shipping and coordinating with UPS for pickups.
• Receive and manage bulk shipments of IT equipment from third-party vendors, including unloading large pallets from tractor-trailers and distributing them within the warehouse.
• Perform laptop repairs following documented procedures, including diagnosing and fixing common hardware issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and accessible.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule to accommodate the operational needs of the business.
