Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) in North America to provide remote and on-site support for MDP-related issues.

You will address complex equipment problems on Endura products, collaborate with field teams, and contribute to continuous improvement through published guides and lessons learned. The role requires strong technical acumen, 5+ years of semiconductor fab experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years of semiconductor fab experience.
• Experience with Applied Materials Endura products.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple technical escalations with focus on time to resolution and quality.
• Attend customer field issues meetings with FSO and collaborate with BU engineers.
• Publish technical lessons learned and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide on-site coaching to FSO and Alpha/Beta Site support.
• Support NPI development early in the product life cycle and at key customer sites.
• Assist DFx (Design for Service/Install) projects and create advanced troubleshooting tools.
