Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to resolve standard to moderately complex technical issues for customers in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes independence, knowledge-building across DGM products, and collaboration with Engineering, Product, Services, and peer support engineers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience. Travel up to 25% and onsite presence in Medina, MN are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in technical support, engineering, or software environments.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software and system-level issues.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (typically less than 25%).
• Ability to work onsite in Medina, MN at least 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve standard to moderately complex technical issues with increasing independence.
• Support cross functional collaboration and provide informal guidance to newer team members.
• Build working knowledge across assigned DGM products and solution areas.
• Assist with customer onboarding, configuration support, and basic system reviews.
• Contribute to knowledgebase articles, runbooks, and troubleshooting documentation.
