Job summary

AspenTech is seeking an ADMS Principal Power Systems Engineer to oversee end-to-end execution of Advanced Distribution Management System projects from planning through cutover. You will serve as the technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a minimum 5+ years in related engineering fields, a bachelor’s degree in electrical/power systems or computer engineering, and the ability to work in Medina,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical, power systems, or computer engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project engineering, power systems, software engineering, applications engineering, or systems engineering.
• Willingness to work in Medina, MN office (4 days in-office) and travel to North American sites up to 25%.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; technical writing/public speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full ADMS project execution and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain a broad perspective and identify evolving requirements.
• Triages variances and escalates as needed to ensure project milestones.
• Bridge between customers and technical resources; ensure clear documentation of variances and resolutions.
• Lead or participate in workshops, training sessions, and testing events.
