We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer with solid IT and customer service skills, interested in providing top-notch customer support to our clients. This is a remote position for our company, headquartered in the USA. The ideal candidate is energetic and eager to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to customers and distributors via email, phone, remote access, and other electronic means.
  • Assisting with medical imaging software and hardware implementations for new customers.
  • Managing product setup and delivering product presentations to customers and visitors.
  • Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues to provide relevant information.
  • Ensuring software meets quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility requirements.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to PACS software implementation, upgrades, and compatibility/bug issues.
  • Knowledge of healthcare imaging standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE).
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate urgent tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment and plan strategically.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster long-term vendor and client relationships.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare IT technical support, including development, analysis, and implementation of PACS and medical IT software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex issues and solutions clearly.
  • BA/BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
