Job summary

Akuity Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to help our users succeed with Argo-based tooling and our platform. You will troubleshoot issues, improve documentation, and contribute to scalable support processes while building deep expertise in GitOps and Kubernetes.

You will serve both open-source and enterprise customers, partnering with engineering to resolve complex problems and extend our support playbooks. This role emphasizes user-focused communication and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing support role.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Argo CD in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, or GitOps concepts.
• A passion for working directly with users and the ability to communicate context clearly and thoughtfully.
• Enthusiasm for being a primary point of contact for both open-source and enterprise customers.
• A proactive, strategic mindset, anticipating issues and designing scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding support to open-source users and enterprise customers via multiple channels, including chat, forums, GitHub, and phone.
• Develop deep technical expertise in GitOps, Argo, and Akuity’s offerings.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer issues promptly and accurately.
• Recognize common support patterns and elevate issues to engineering when appropriate.
• Help build and iterate on our support playbook, processes, and systems.
• Contribute to improving Akuity’s documentation to enhance the customer experience.
