What You Will Do

• Work with customers to resolve issues with their Confluent deployments.
• Contribute to process development to help us grow efficiently and foster a best-in-class culture.
• Provide real-time product feedback to our core engineering team.
• Improve product documentation and author knowledge base articles.
• Create and review product demos and internal tooling.
• Collaborate closely with the team behind Apache Kafka.

What You Will Bring

• Enthusiasm for learning about streaming data and becoming a domain expert in the Confluent Data Stream Platform.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Java or Scala.
• Experience with Apache Flink is a plus.
• Knowledge of Golang, Python, C/C++, C# is a plus.
• Experience diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving customer issues.
• Desire to make customers successful through direct interaction.
• At least two of the following: troubleshooting applications on Linux, operational knowledge of Java applications, or experience with distributed systems like Kafka, Flink, or Spark.
