Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support

Role Overview

Amazon Robotics is seeking passionate candidates with a love for learning, technology, and problem-solving to join our expanding Robotics Technical Support team as an Engineer.

Note: This role requires a 5-day work week, including 1 day over the weekend, to ensure 24-hour global support coverage. Working shifts may be Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and resolve escalated technical issues across Amazon Robotics facilities.
2. Use data sources, dashboards, and logs to identify and fix software/hardware bugs.
3. Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex issues and develop solutions.
4. Manage high-severity incidents, communicate with customers, and coordinate real-time service restoration.
5. Apply Change Management best practices for environment updates.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years in software development or technical support.
• Scripting experience in modern programming languages.
• Troubleshooting and debugging skills for technical systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development.
• Experience with hardware/software RAID troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, XML, and JSON.
