Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support

Amazon Robotics is seeking candidates with a passion for learning, technology, and complexity who are curious about how things really work to join our rapidly expanding Robotics Technical Support team as an Engineer.

Please note: This role requires working a 5-day week, including 1 weekend day, to ensure critical 24-hour global support coverage. The shifts available are Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deep-dive, analyze, mitigate, or resolve technical issues escalated by Amazon Robotics Facilities.
  • Utilize data sources, dashboards, and logs to identify and resolve software/hardware defects or bugs.
  • Collaborate with development and software teams to resolve complex issues and create solutions for customers.
  • Manage high-severity incidents in Amazon’s Product Fulfillment & Sortation facilities.
  • Handle high-severity calls, troubleshooting directly with customers and coordinating real-time service restoration as needed.
  • Apply Change Management best practices to implement changes within the Amazon Robotics environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of software development or technical support experience.
  • Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development.
  • Experience maintaining hardware & software RAID.
  • Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON.
