Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing and designing solutions to networking issues, providing technical support to other departments, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving issues with both hardware and software. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 9 years or equivalent experience in a related area. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and technologies in the field. A certain degree of creativity is required.

THIS IS A PART-TIME / ON-CALL POSITION FOR 10-20 HOURS PER WEEK, UP TO 1040 HOURS

Primary Tasks

• Architect and implement a logical structure for software systems and databases
• Meet with stakeholders to understand their needs to ensure that the right information is collected
• Lead design exploration and updates to existing Crash application
• Analyze and integrate new technologies into the existing portfolio
• Troubleshoot reported system issues, identify the root cause, and implement solutions
• Provide estimates to complete tasks and communicate progress
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively
• Develop software code within web-based, client/server, and SQL technologies
• Communicate clearly verbally and in writing
• Interact with customers to understand and document needs
• Understand the Information System Development Lifecycle methodology
• Perform requirements management and source code analysis as needed
• Experience with Crash Data Management solutions
• Advanced skills in developing and updating software within web-based technologies
