TALNT Team LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to partner with recruiters and hiring managers across technology teams to identify and engage top talent in software engineering, data analytics, AI/ML, and product.

You will own the front end of the recruiting funnel, from market research through sourcing, outreach, and initial candidate engagement. This role requires strategic thinking beyond basic searches and a strong ability to improve sourcing strategy and pipeline quality.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing technical talent in fast-paced environments.
• Track record sourcing software engineering, data, AI/ML, or product roles.
• Proven ability to engage passive candidates.
• Ability to build proactive sourcing strategies, not rely on inbound applicants.
• Comfort with funnel metrics to assess and refine strategy.
• Strong research skills to translate hiring needs into talent pools.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI tools in recruiting.

Our client is hiring a Senior Technical Sourcer. You will partner with recruiters and hiring managers across their technology organization to identify and engage high-quality talent across software engineering, data analytics, AI and ML, and product.

You will own the front end of the recruiting funnel, from talent mapping and market research through sourcing, outreach, and initial candidate engagement. This role requires more than executing searches. You will use market intelligence, data, and judgment to determine where the right talent sits, how to reach it, and how to continuously improve sourcing strategy and pipeline quality.

The people who do well here have sourced technical talent in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, are highly effective at engaging passive candidates, and operate as strategic partners to recruiters and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, calibrate target profiles, and translate role requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
• Build and execute sourcing strategies across software engineering, data analytics, AI and ML, and product roles.
• Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify target companies, candidate populations, talent pools, and relevant market trends.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, search tools, professional communities, referrals, and other creative sourcing channels.
• Develop thoughtful, personalized outreach strategies that generate candidate interest and improve response and conversion rates.
• Use sourcing data to understand what is and is not working, identify pipeline gaps, and adjust search strategy accordingly.
• Track and communicate sourcing metrics including outreach response, candidate conversion, pipeline quality, and source effectiveness.
• Partner closely with recruiters to maintain healthy pipelines, share market intelligence, and recalibrate searches as hiring needs evolve.
• Use LLMs and AI tools to improve research, talent discovery, outreach, and sourcing efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

• Technical sourcing experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Track record sourcing software engineering, data, AI and ML, or product talent.
• Strong experience identifying and engaging passive technical candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to build sourcing strategies rather than rely solely on inbound applicants or standard LinkedIn searches.
• Comfort using sourcing metrics and funnel data to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategy.
• Strong research skills and the ability to translate ambiguous hiring requirements into targeted talent pools.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI tooling in a recruiting or sourcing workflow.
