A leading global investment firm is seeking an Engineering Sourcer to join its growing Talent Acquisition team. This is an exciting opportunity for a research-driven recruiter who enjoys digging into technical talent markets, developing creative sourcing strategies, and building pipelines of exceptional engineering talent.

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday

Type: Contract (open-ended + full benefits)

Compensation: $55–$80/hour, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Do

• Build and execute sourcing strategies across a variety of engineering and technical roles.
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements and define what strong talent looks like.
• Proactively identify and engage highly skilled engineering talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, ATS systems, and other research tools.
• Develop creative, personalized outreach strategies to attract hard-to-reach candidates.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across New York and London, with potential exposure to Hong Kong and Singapore.
• Use recruiting data and market insights to evaluate pipeline health and determine when sourcing strategies, messaging, or compensation may need to be adjusted.
• Research technical talent markets and uncover new candidate pools.
• Manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, research, or a similarly research-driven role.
• Experience sourcing engineering or technical talent is strongly preferred.
• A genuine interest in research and identifying hard-to-find talent.
• Ability to understand different types of engineering and technical roles and translate hiring needs into effective sourcing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform recruiting decisions.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create thoughtful, compelling outreach.
• Highly proactive, curious, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
