Preformed-Line-Products is seeking a Technical Solutions Manager in Mayfield Village, OH. This role focuses on providing technical expertise to customers before, during, and after the sales process, acting as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and product management to ensure successful deployments and long-term relationships.

You will deliver product training, address technical challenges, and identify new business opportunities to maximize customer value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5+ years in technical sales support, customer solutions, engineering, telecommunications, or related industry.
• Experience working directly with customers, distributors, contractors, and sales teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Strong verbal and written communication; diplomatic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support before and after the sale of PLP products.
• Deliver product training and demonstrations for safe and effective use.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to product applications and performance.
• Collaborate with Field Sales to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
• Support sales with technical presentations, evaluations, and guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of PLP products, applications, and use cases.
• Analyze customer requirements and market conditions to promote adoption.
• Coordinate with Product Management on market trends and feedback.
• Report on product performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain records of customer activities and opportunities.
• Prepare trip reports and project updates as required.
