Job summary

PLP is seeking a Technical Solutions Manager to provide technical expertise across the sales cycle and ensure successful product deployments for customers in the United States. You will train customers, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with sales, field teams, and product management to maximize product value.

The role emphasizes strong communication, hands-on problem solving, and travel up to 75% to support distributors, contractors, and end customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in technical sales support, customer solutions, engineering, telecom or related industry.
• Experience with customers, distributors, contractors, and sales teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers before and after sale of PLP products.
• Conduct product trainings and demonstrations for effective usage.
• Troubleshoot issues related to product application and performance.
• Collaborate with Field Sales to identify customer needs and solutions.
• Support sales with technical presentations, evaluations, and guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of PLP products, applications, and use cases.
• Analyze customer requirements to boost product adoption.
• Work with Product Management on market trends and feedback.
• Generate reports on field performance and recommendations.
• Document customer activities and business development opportunities.
• Prepare trip reports and project updates.
