Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC is seeking a dynamic Subject Matter Expert to represent the Atlas Copco brand onsite at Tesla in Austin, TX. You will engage directly with the customer to optimize torque tools and fastening equipment, driving operational improvements and reliability.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will perform maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and network-related support on tooling, ensuring peak performance and seamless data flow within the customer

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation or data collection systems.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to read schematics; MS Office, networking, and databases.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador promoting Atlas Copco torque tools and fastening solutions.
• Maintain, calibrate, and check tools for peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling, fastening, and basic network issues.
• Repair, upgrade, and adjust equipment to improve productivity and reliability.
• Configure and troubleshoot tools within the customer's network and data systems.

Are you our next Subject Matter Expert?

We are seeking a dynamic Subject Matter Expert (SME) to represent the Atlas Copco brand onsite at our customer, Tesla. In this pivotal role, you will engage directly with our customer to optimize their torque tools and fastening equipment, making a tangible impact on their operations

What You'll Do:

• Be a Brand Ambassador: Interface with our customer to promote Atlas Copco’s commitment to excellence in torque tools and fastening solutions.
• Maintain & Calibrate Tools: Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and performance checks to ensure tools run at peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Quickly diagnose and resolve tooling, fastening, and basic network connectivity challenges to minimize downtime.
• Repair & Optimize Equipment: Conduct repairs, upgrades, and adjustments to enhance productivity and tool reliability.
• Networking Support: Configure, connect, and troubleshoot Atlas Copco tools and software within the customer's network environment, ensuring proper communication with data systems and reporting tools.

You will report directly to the Site Manager and work onsite daily at Tesla's Austin, TX facility. This opening is on 1st shift.

To succeed, you will need

• Experience: 3-5years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Customer-Focused: Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and comprehend schematics. Proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
