Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to represent the brand onsite at Hyundai in Ellabell, GA. You will optimize torque tools and fastening equipment, engage directly with the customer, and work on second shift to minimize downtime.

You will maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair tools, and configure networked Atlas Copco software within the customer environment. A hands-on, customer-focused technician is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Customer-focused with proven experience delivering quality service.
• Technical aptitude to read schematics; proficient in MS Office and basic networking.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador: Interface with the customer to promote Atlas Copco's commitment to excellence in torque tools and fastening solutions.
• Maintain & Calibrate Tools: Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and performance checks to ensure tools run at peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Quickly diagnose and resolve tooling, fastening, and basic network connectivity challenges to minimize downtime.
• Repair & Optimize Equipment: Conduct repairs, upgrades, and adjustments to enhance productivity and tool reliability.
• Networking Support: Configure, connect, and troubleshoot Atlas Copco tools and software within the customer's network environment, ensuring proper communication with data systems and reporting tools.

Are you our next Subject Matter Expert?

We are seeking a dynamic Subject Matter Expert (SME) to represent the Atlas Copco brand onsite at our customer, Hyundai. In this pivotal role, you will engage directly with our customer to optimize their torque tools and fastening equipment, making a tangible impact on their operations

What You’ll Do:

You will report directly to the Site Manager and work onsite daily at Hyundai's Ellabell, GA facility. This opening is on 2ndshift.

To succeed, you will need

• Experience: 3-5years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Customer-Focused: Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and comprehend schematics. Proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
