Job summary

McKinstry in Tampa, FL seeks a Project Manager Tech Services to lead a highly technical, client-facing delivery team within the Technical Services group. You will drive alignment of offerings, plan resource and milestones, and manage budgets for energy management projects across diverse buildings.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, and delivering high-impact consulting services to improve efficiency and sustainability of client facilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, Environmental Science or Energy degree or equivalent work in the built-environment experience.
• Prior people management experience is required.
• Able to analyze project financials.
• Assist with client interactions.
• Review and improve process and procedures.
• Prior people management experience is highly desired.
• Understanding of building efficiency.
• Understanding of basic design principles and standards.
• Understanding of data analytics in the built environment.
• Ability to analyze utility data.
• Knowledge of building HVAC mechanical systems, BAS systems, and energy analysis.
• PE license is preferred. BCxACCP,ACGCxA, ASHRAEBCxPcertification is preferred. CEM is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the alignment of our offering and delivery teams as they evolve.
• Collaborate between local and enterprise-wide stakeholders to set and deliver this vision.
• Plan resource plans for your team, equipment requirements, milestones and support delivery of projects with excellence.
• Participate in project budgeting, scoping, and savings strategies to maximize client impact while reducing risk.
• Ensure effective project delivery by your team.
• Lead the technical delivery experts optimizing the build environment for Active Energy Management, MBCx, performance audits and analysis offerings.
