Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales field engineers responsible for installation, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. The role emphasizes on-site leadership, SLA adherence, and close collaboration with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors.

You will drive deployments, ensure security compliance, and stay focused on 24/7 public safety operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team consisting of Field Engineers.
• Oversee on-site hardware/software installations, upgrades, and system cutovers.
• Ensure adherence to installation protocols, SAT, and security standards.
• Manage backlog to ensure timely project closure and revenue.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across PSAPs and emergency centers.
