Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Technical Services Engineer (TSE) to support Energy-as-a-Service projects across complex facilities. You will provide technical leadership in HVAC, building automation, and energy conservation measures during RCx initiatives, working with the project team to deliver measurable energy and operational gains.

The role emphasizes deep MEP design expertise, collaboration with the engineer of record, and mentoring of TS staff. Travel is expected to 30-40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 7+ years in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.
• PE license; commissioning/energy sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently executes all technical design, pre-construction, and construction-phase engineering tasks.
• Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and requirements.
• Integrates energy conservation strategies for unified energy management.
• Collaborates to ensure alignment with codes, standards, and best practices.
• Advises the project team on technical and resource requirements.
• Mentors Technical Services staff and develops training materials.
