Job summary

ENFRA LLC in New York seeks a Technical Services Engineer (TSE) to support Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, focusing on retro-commissioning (RCx) across multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare settings.

The role requires deep MEP expertise, strong building automation knowledge, and the ability to guide project teams through commissioning, energy optimization, and documentation with minimal supervision. Occasional travel and hands-on leadership are expected.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
7+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently executes all technical design, pre-construction, and construction-phase engineering tasks.
Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and requirements.
Integrates energy conservation strategies for unified energy management across systems.
Collaborates with project engineering to align with codes and standards.
Advises the project team on technical and resource requirements to meet outcomes.
Troubleshoots complex equipment and system installations and upgrades.
Develops tools to support project execution and improves processes.
Provides leadership and mentoring within Technical Services.
Develops training materials and delivers post-implementation operations training.
