Job summary

BEKO is seeking a Technical Service Technician to support customers with compressed air treatment products and systems from our Atlanta headquarters. Occasional travel up to 5% is expected, with primary focus on internal and external customer support.

The role requires reading schematics and manuals, wiring diagrams, and P&ID diagrams, plus experience with ERP systems and MS Office. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze product warranty.
• Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues with air treatment equipment via phone, email, and Internet support.
• Supports internal and external customers in performing part identification.
• Performs in-house calibration as needed for specialty sensors.
• Tracks all returns with accurate data entry into our business management system.
• Provides data to support written reports as necessary or as requested by the customer.
• Process warranty and claim services according to MRP requirements.
• Inspects and tests malfunctioning equipment following manufacturer and company specifications, using test and analysis instruments.
• Reads and understands schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, airflow sheets, and P&ID diagrams.
• Disassembles malfunctioning equipment and replaces defective parts such as refrigerant compressors, valves, or controllers.
• Supports Technical Service Training to BEKO distributors as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
