Job summary

Calibration Technologies, LLC. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide in-house technical support and solutions to customers by phone and email. You will diagnose issues and guide customers through steps to resolve problems with gas detection systems and controllers.

The role reports to the Technical Support Supervisor, with occasional travel to customer facilities for field service. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency is required.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics or 2 years of industrial controls/maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with gas detection equipment is preferred.
• Must be 21+ with a reliable vehicle and acceptable driving record.
• Able to diagnose basic electrical/instrumentation problems using a multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to customers by phone and email.
• Diagnose issues and work toward resolution or next steps.
• Guide users through solutions for gas detection systems, sensors, and controllers.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors or engineering teams with clear notes.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, cases and resolutions.
