Job summary

Vertechs Group seeks a senior sales and operations leader to drive market development for managed pressure drilling and associated services worldwide. You will manage customer relationships, lead commercial negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to secure major projects.

The role requires extensive experience in oilfield equipment sales, strong contract and tendering skills, and proficiency in English; Arabic skills are a plus. Travel to global markets is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or technical majors such as oil and gas engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience; 5+ years in sales and project operations for oil & gas equipment and services.
  • Familiar with drilling equipment markets and able to identify commercial value for customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Market development, including responsible for the development and maintenance of the target market for managed pressure drilling (including underbalanced), well control equipment and related technical services, focusing on the Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets; conducting market research, deeply understanding product market dynamics, competitor situations, and customer needs, and formulate corresponding sales strategies; deeply understand the product line's product and technical characteristics and value, and provide customers with appropriate solutions; be responsible for improving market development marketing materials, organizing exhibition promotion work, and organizing technical exchanges with important customers.
  • Customer management, including customer due diligence, risk control, and management of the company's CRM system; customer-qualified supplier access: access application, access document preparation, access inspection, access account management; establish and maintain good relationships with new and old customers, and timely feedback customer needs and issues; regularly visit customers, promote the company's products and services, and facilitate sales orders.
  • Sales planning, including formulating product line sales targets and sales plans, and implementing them effectively. Track business opportunities and drive sales progress to ensure sales targets are achieved. Formulate and dynamically manage the sales budget.
  • Contract signing and execution, including participating in commercial negotiations with customers, reviewing various contracts, identifying and controlling contract risks, and ensuring that the terms of the contract are in line with the company's interests and legal regulations. Complete contract signing; coordinate internal company resources to ensure smooth contract execution, provide technical support and after-sales service for customers. Promptly handle customer complaints and maintain the company's reputation.
  • Sales analysis and reporting, including conducting market and competitor analysis to provide a basis for company decision-making; regularly report to superiors on sales progress and market trends; regularly complete the preparation and analysis of various sales statements and reports.
  • Responsible for the formulation and improvement of sales-related management systems, processes, and standard documents.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in engineering or technical majors such as oil and gas well engineering, oil field development engineering, mechanical manufacturing, etc.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience, 5 years or more of experience in sales and project operations of oil and gas equipment and oilfield technical services; priority will be given to those with sales and project operations experience in managed pressure drilling (including underbalanced), well control equipment and related technical services.
  • Familiar with the target market conditions for drilling equipment and services, able to fully identify and explore the commercial value of product lines for customers, and discover business opportunities. Priority will be given to those with rich customer resources.
  • Possess professional knowledge of managed pressure drilling (including underbalanced), well control equipment and related technical services.
  • Proven sales performance and management experience in oil & gas equipment and oilfield technical services. Experience in sales and project operations in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Russia, or similar regions is a strong advantage.
  • Familiar with international tendering affairs, able to organize and prepare tender documents proficiently. Priority will be given to those with international tendering experience.
  • Familiar with contract-related affairs, able to review various contracts proficiently, identify and control contract risks, have good negotiation skills, and be able to organize and conduct negotiations proficiently;
  • Able to independently manage sales activities in key regions and accept business travel assignments as required.
  • Possess good English proficiency, able to read and write English documents proficiently, and can communicate in English well; priority will be given to those with good Arabic language skills.
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and dedication, work meticulously and can withstand relatively high work pressure.
  • Have strong team management skills and communication abilities, have a good team cooperation spirit, and can establish good cooperative relationships with cross-departmental personnel.
  • Have strong learning ability and innovation awareness, able to adapt quickly to market changes and the company's business development needs.
  • Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and able to use Excel proficiently for business data statistics and analysis.
