Technical Sales Specialist - CGA, GC & FTIR (East Region)

Join to apply for the Technical Sales Specialist - CGA, GC & FTIR (East Region) role at ABB.

This position reports to the Sales Team Lead and is part of the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division. The work model is remote.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Identify potential projects and present ABB CGA and CEMS solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Drive and support channel partners, collaborate with sales teams, and directly grow the business.
  • Monitor market trends, recommend strategic adjustments, and provide market insights for decision-making.
  • Communicate the value proposition of Analytics solutions internally and externally, supporting marketing and training efforts.
  • Achieve targets related to volume, price, and mix; develop and follow detailed business plans.
  • Manage major accounts, prioritize opportunities, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities, negotiate agreements, and manage risks.
  • Report on progress and leverage tools to identify future opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in technology with 5+ years of instrumentation experience (customer, sales, technician, or project management).
  • Solid understanding of Analytics including GC, FTIR, Tuneable Diode Lasers, CGA, and CWA.
  • Existing industry relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Ability to design customer-specific solutions and drive ABB product integration.
  • Strong focus on customer needs, relationship-building at all levels, and travel willingness (up to 50% domestic, occasional international).
  • Work authorization for employment in the US.

Compensation

The expected salary range is $92,500 to $171,500 annually, with eligibility for sales incentives and programs.
