Job summary

Aldevron is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Specialist to support the sales team and clients with expert guidance on cell and gene therapy applications. This remote role focuses on driving revenue, gathering strategic feedback, and enhancing product quality and innovation.

The position reports to the Director of Technical Sales within the Commercial organization and offers a remote work arrangement with potential travel for client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Sales Quota Achievement: Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met in partnership with the Inside Sales, Business Development and Global Strategic Account Teams, supporting our more technical programs and projects.
• Client Engagement: Establishing the technical needs of the client and suggesting appropriate Aldevron products and solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Explaining complex technical and scientific information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
• Industry Engagement: Represent Aldevron as a scientific expert at trade shows and conferences, with the opportunity to speak broadly to industry on Aldevron solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Partnering with Business Unit Leaders, Sales Leaders and Marketing Leader to address meaningful industry shifts, scientific updates and voice of customer feedback.
