Job summary

PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company, seeks a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth in the aviation and defense market. You will identify new customers, maintain relationships, and translate customer requirements to product management and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, travel to customer sites, and close collaboration with internal teams to win opportunities, with location flexible anywhere in the continental U.S. and proximity to airports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical outside sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience/knowledge.
• Familiarity with RF & ethernet cable technology and/or avionics systems and/or the Aerospace & Defense market.
• Ability to travel domestically at a minimum 50% of the time; limited international travel.
• Residentially located near an airport is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customers and maintain relationships with current customers as part of the Growth Sales team.
• Produce strategic plans for target customers, incorporating customer details and objectives.
• Develop and grow relationships at target customers, performing cold calls when required.
• Pro‑actively work with the internal execution team and the customer to successfully close opportunities.

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be part of our GROWTH Sales team, identifying new customers and maintaining relationships with current customers. This position serves as the Voice of Customer, identifying and interpreting customer requirements and sharing them with our internal product management and engineering solutions teams.
