Job summary

PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company, headquartered in Waukesha, WI, is seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth at the intersection of strategy, technology, and relationships. You will identify opportunities and collaborate with sales, engineering and product teams to advance strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aerospace/defense or interconnect markets, a strong business sense, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or related field.
• Five+ years in aerospace/defense or interconnect solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong business acumen including market dynamics, financial analysis and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate organic growth, partnerships, licensing and M&A options to identify best strategic path.
• Scout emerging technologies and market segments via industry events and market research.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and product mgmt to assess technologies and opportunities.
• Support transition of approved proposals to PMO or Executive Team and participate in implementation teams.
