Japanese-English Bilingual Technical Sales Representative

Summary

A global Japanese electronic components manufacturer is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Technical Sales Representative. This role focuses on providing technical sales support for aluminum electrolytic capacitors and related materials, including in-house manufactured aluminum foil and electrolytes. The ideal candidate will work closely with R&D and procurement departments at customer sites—primarily in the semiconductor and electronics sectors—and serve as a liaison between local clients and technical teams based in Japan and Taiwan.

Essential Duties

• Engage in technical sales activities with key customers, particularly in the semiconductor and electronics industries
• Conduct product presentations, gather technical requirements, and propose solutions based on customer needs
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Japan to ensure seamless communication and project execution
• Provide support throughout the design-in and mass production phases
• Travel as needed within the region
• Identify potential clients and support new business development initiatives
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and reporting using internal CRM tools
• Serve as a bridge between local customers and internal global stakeholders

Working Hours / Working style

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• Hybrid work: Up to 1 day per week remote work (flexible depending on circumstances)

Salary / Benefit

• Annual salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
• Annual bonus: Typically one month’s salary (paid in December)
• Annual salary review (based on performance, market trends, and inflation rate)
