We are an expanding company supplying the horticultural industry in the United States and Canada, looking to fill a vacant position on our technical sales team. Our client base includes greenhouse vegetables, greenhouse ornamentals, nurseries, and medicinal crops. Products and services sold by the company include integrated pest management products, plant nutrition, and innovative consumables.

This is a fully remote role. The candidate must live in one of the territory's states and will be expected to travel within that territory (Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and southern New York) on a weekly basis.

What you’ll do

  1. Provide technical support for greenhouse plant nutrition and crop protection strategies.
  2. Grow sales by generating new business or expanding current business.
  3. Address customers’ needs and concerns promptly to meet expectations and provide solutions.
  4. Manage customer relationships.
  5. Implement product demos and trials.
  6. Evaluate new technologies in collaboration with customers.
  7. Answer questions regarding products, including pricing and credit terms.
  8. Develop and execute marketing initiatives.
  9. Present technical information at grower meetings and webinars.
  10. Achieve annual sales growth.
