Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Lead for our pharmaceutical industry to drive sales growth within the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements related to water quality, as well as experience in technical sales. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to develop relationships with key stakeholders, promote Swan Analytical USA’s product portfolio, and drive business expansion in the pharmaceutical market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech companies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote and sell Swan Analytical USA’s water quality analyzers tailored for pharmaceutical applications, including TOC, conductivity, and ozone monitoring solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to refine messaging and ensure alignment with industry needs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and customer challenges to position Swan Analytical USA as a trusted partner.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the full sales process and as a result be able to prospect clients and close deals. They should be well organized and be able to manage the daily operations of assigned accounts. In order to continue to generate revenue, this candidate should be able to uncover new client needs and find a way to add value to their business.

Responsibilities

  • Grow accounts by maintaining relationships with clients
  • Manage operation of accounts through responding to customers, forecasting, arranging services and ordering new product
  • Generate new leads and tackle existing leads to contribute to business growth
