Job summary

Castolin Eutectic is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in the Salt Lake City area. You will partner with customers to identify wear, corrosion, and maintenance challenges and recommend welding, brazing, thermal spray, and wear protection solutions to cut downtime and costs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial/technical sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage full sales cycles while collaborating with internal technical experts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial/technical sales experience.
• Experience in welding, metal fabrication, MRO or related industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial processes.
• Proven ability to develop business and build lasting customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand business within your territory through prospecting and relationship building.
• Identify opportunities at existing accounts and pursue new customer acquisition.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity to implementation and follow-up.
• Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales and profitability goals.
• Evaluate customer applications and maintenance challenges; recommend solutions.
• Conduct product demos, application reviews, and technical presentations.
• Help customers reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM; prepare quotations and plans.
• Represent Castolin Eutectic at trade shows and events; manage travel and forecasts.
