Castolin Eutectic, a global leader in wear protection and surface technologies, seeks a Technical Sales Representative to grow and support a defined US territory. In this consultative role, you will partner with maintenance, engineering, and purchasing teams to identify wear and maintenance challenges and recommend welding, brazing, thermal spray, and wear protection solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful industrial, technical, or manufactured products sales experience.
• Experience in welding, metal fabrication, maintenance and repair operations (MRO) or related industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand industrial processes and equipment.
• Proven ability to develop business and build lasting customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated, highly organized, and results‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand business within your territory through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
• Identify opportunities at existing accounts while pursuing new customer acquisition.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through implementation and follow‑up.
• Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales and profitability goals.
• Evaluate customer applications and maintenance challenges.
• Recommend value‑added welding, brazing, thermal spray, and wear protection solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, application reviews, and technical presentations.
• Help customers reduce downtime, extend equipment life, and lower maintenance costs.
• Develop relationships with maintenance managers, reliability engineers, operations leaders, distributors, and purchasing personnel.
• Create long‑term partnerships through responsive support and solution‑focused selling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
• Collaborate with internal technical specialists and engineering teams to develop optimal solutions.
• Share market intelligence and participate in technical training.
