Job summary

VEGA Americas, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to cover the Northern New Jersey to NYC metro territory. You will build and maintain lasting customer relationships and deliver measurement solutions from our Cincinnati manufacturing facility.

This is a salary-only sales position with no commission. A Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in industrial automation or instrumentation are required, with an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial automation or instrumentation.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business in defined territory through networking and appointments.
• Develop annual forecast and execute sales plan to meet or exceed goals.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor to VEGA clients to ensure platinum service.
• Develop close working relationships with customer personnel and VEGA staff.
