Job summary

Azelis Group in the upper Midwest United States is seeking a Sales Director - Ag Formulators to manage existing and new customer accounts across the territory, including Canada. The role emphasizes delivering value through informed product recommendations and strong relationship management.

You will analyze opportunities, prioritize profitable products, and collaborate with the Sales Director to set short-term targets and strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (chemistry preferred) from an accredited four-year college/university.
• 5 or more years field sales experience.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
• High moral and business ethics orientation.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and potential customers in assigned territory.
• Identify profitable sales opportunities and increase sales efficiencies.
• Prioritize products for profitability and adjust offerings accordingly.
• Maintain responsiveness and follow-up to customer needs.
• Develop product knowledge from data sheets.
• Build relationships with key accounts and maintain them.
• Provide written reports on sales calls and pricing changes.
• Collaborate with Sales VP to set goals and strategies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to introduce products at key accounts.
• Monitor sales leads from various sources.
• Submit pricing proposals for non-standard pricing.
• Handle administrative duties in line with company policies.
• Support goals to improve customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Foster cross-functional relationships within the company.
