Job summary

Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Manager, Performance Polymers to lead business development, sales growth, technical support, and market expansion across North America.

This role requires a technically proficient sales professional who can build strong customer relationships, identify new applications, and drive strategic growth within a global organization. Travel up to three weeks per month is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales/marketing experience in polymer, plastics, coatings, packaging, chemical or related industries.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to explain complex concepts to customers and partners.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel across North America up to three weeks per month.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mid-term business plans and annual budgets aligned with company objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities across products, applications and markets in North America.
• Drive sales growth, revenue, and profitability for the Performance Polymers portfolio.
• Provide technical support, product and manufacturing guidance to customers; coordinate with R&D for new products.
