Job summary

Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Manager, Performance Polymers to lead business development, sales growth, technical support, and market expansion initiatives across North America.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically knowledgeable sales professional to build strong customer relationships, develop new applications and markets, and help shape the strategic direction of a growing business within a global organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales/marketing experience within polymer, plastics, coatings, packaging, chemical or related industries.
Proven success in business development, sales growth and customer relationship management.
Strong technical aptitude with ability to explain complex concepts to customers and partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute mid-term business plans and annual budgets aligned with company objectives.
Identify growth opportunities across products, applications, and markets across North America.
Drive sales growth, revenue, and profitability for the Performance Polymers portfolio.
Establish strategies, targets, and action plans to support long-term expansion.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with global colleagues to support growth initiatives.
