Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Siding & Trim to act as an internal expert and partner with our Outside Sales Team, Marketing, and Supply Chain across the designated region. This role also works as an extension of our vendors to support customers and contractors with product specification and installation guidance.

You will deliver hands-on training, field demonstrations, and vendor coordination to drive sales growth and strengthen customer satisfaction while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in construction, building materials, or exterior systems
• Understanding of siding materials and installation processes
• Strong communication and presentation skills for contractors and distributors
• Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of local building codes and certifications is a plus
• Able to troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions

Responsibilities

• Serve as field resource for Exterior product lines Woodgrain represents
• Maintain a detailed pipeline with RSM and map opportunities
• Conduct on-site product training sessions and contractor workshops
• Coordinate with vendors and Woodgrain OSR teams on large regional projects
• Ensure inventory breadth and depth with local leadership and supply chain
• Provide installation support to builders, contractors, and distributors
• Collect field feedback for product development and marketing
• Support sales with marketing materials, launches, and regional events
• Promote vendor brand image at customer touchpoints
