Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to act as an internal expert for Exterior product lines and to partner with the Outside Sales Team, Marketing, and Supply Chain. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant experience in construction/building materials/exterior systems is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, building materials, or exterior systems is desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with contractors and distributors.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of local building codes and professional certifications is a plus.
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field resource for Woodgrain exterior product lines.
• Maintain a detailed pipeline with the Outside Sales Team and stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site product training, installation demonstrations, and contractor workshops.
• Coordinate large regional projects with vendor and Woodgrain OSRs.
• Ensure inventory breadth with local leadership and supply chain.
• Provide technical support to builders, contractors, distributors, and sales reps.
• Coordinate with vendor quality teams for field inspections and feedback.
• Support marketing with materials, launches and regional events.
• Promote Woodgrain and partner brands at customer touchpoints.
