Job summary

Ergon, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales and Marketing Specialist to drive revenue in assigned territories by translating complex technical concepts into practical, results-driven solutions for public works and engineering professionals.

You will lead discovery discussions, product demonstrations, and tailored proposals, while collaborating with marketing and internal teams to optimize go-to-market initiatives and customer success.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or marketing roles.
• Experience in infrastructure, engineering services, SaaS, or public sector markets preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with consultative sales and relationship-driven business development.

Responsibilities

• Territory management & business development: identify, develop, and pursue new opportunities.
• Client engagement & sales execution: lead discovery, presentations, and product demos.
• Proposal support & deal advancement: collaborate on proposals and pricing strategies; drive deals.
• Marketing collaboration & campaign support: align messaging, campaigns, and outreach with marketing.
• Market intelligence & feedback: share insights on client needs and competitive landscape; inform GTM strategy.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with operations and client success to ensure smooth handover.
