Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking a driven engineer to join our sales team as an applications engineer and field support specialist. You will develop business with existing customers and new accounts, applying engineering principles to HVAC kitchen ventilation solutions.

You’ll train with a mentor and grow skills in product knowledge, sales strategies, and design support, while traveling to customer sites and completing bids and quotes. A technical degree and drive to succeed are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years experience in a technical role.
• 4-year technical degree in engineering preferred.
• Strong computer and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teams.
• Willingness to travel for training and customer visits.
• FE Exam completion within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide application engineering and design support for ventilation applications.
• Work with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Dealers.
• Handle inside sales support, application engineering, and outside sales.
• Deliver presentations, quotes, submittals, and technical product support.
• Support customers with site visits, troubleshooting, and procurement coordination.
• Promote CaptiveAire products and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain high customer service standards and quick response times.
• Continuously improve processes and customer experience.
