Job summary

Lancope is seeking a Corporate Sales Engineer to drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. You will act as the key technical advisor and advocate for Lancope solutions, answering complex questions and leading PoC engagements with clients and partners.

You will collaborate with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams, presenting tailored demonstrations on-site or via WebEx, and you will travel up to 25% to support field events and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software/hardware sales or support.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally verbally and in writing.
• Organized with excellent time management; ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Comfortable working for a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
• Solid understanding of IP routing and other networking fundamentals.
• Ability to speak knowledgeably about the Security Industry and relevant technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux command line preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent in experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technology expert on the Sales Team.
• Demonstrate technical presentations specific to the customer’s industry, on-site and via WebEx sessions.
• Answer functional and complex technical questions from existing and potential customers.
• Deliver and manage onsite and remote Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements.
• Attend and demonstrate Lancope solutions at field events, such as conferences and trade shows.
• Serve as a technical resource for internal departments.
