Job summary

Lutron seeks a Systems Sales Engineer at our Coopersburg, PA headquarters. You will join the Commercial Applications team, collaborating with IT, engineering, and sales to design, validate, and promote technology solutions for customers.

You will act as a technical advisor, translate complex concepts for diverse audiences, and develop training to enhance sales and support teams on networking and cybersecurity topics. This role requires travel and U.S. work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in computer systems, programming languages, operating systems, networking, and/or databases.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams and customer IT/Networking/Security to lead solution design, validation, and sales success.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing system application expertise to remove sales barriers.
• Develop and deliver training to improve networking and cybersecurity discussions with customers.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Continuously build knowledge across IT and building technology domains.
• Champion process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
