Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in the United States is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support Hypersteel Cold Form Buildings. You will act as a liaison between sales and customers for design support, software troubleshooting, and engineering-related order changes.

Occasional deployment to customer sites or tradeshows may be required. This role suits someone with a strong technical mindset, excellent communication, and experience in metal buildings or related construction products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years equivalent experience in the Construction Industry.
• 2 years of steel building design and/or erection experience.
• Strong understanding of customer and market needs.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, CRM, and ERP order software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, and contractors.
• Support multiple sales channels including direct retail, distribution, and dealer networks.
• Work across a brand-agnostic environment, supporting multiple product lines.
• Train customers on technology platforms, product details, and processes.
• Oversee video training and product manuals for onsite challenges.
• Help customers understand metal building systems, applications and installation.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer and project success.
• Assist customers with navigating systems, processes, and project coordination.
• Support initiatives to expand adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Provide high-level customer service and manage expectations.
• Build credibility through communication, product knowledge and responsiveness.
• Visit job sites to verify inventory, compliance, and installation procedures.
