Job summary

Kyocera International, Inc. in Westborough, MA is seeking an Associate Sales Engineer to support production and drive high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will maintain strong customer relationships, assist with contract negotiations, and communicate technical capabilities to internal teams. The role requires a 4-year degree in materials science or engineering, at least one year in technical or inside sales, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in Materials Science/Engineering/Technical field.
• 1 year of technical or inside sales experience.
• Strong technical understanding of drawings, materials and engineering terms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly booking goals and participate in master plans within assigned accounts.
• Leverage technical skills to generate new business for existing products.
• Maintain customer relationships and articulate Kyocera product benefits.
• Represent customer needs to production, quality and management for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate price quotations, deliveries, and support with counterparts in Japan and the US.
• Possibility to travel up to 50% and escort customers to factories worldwide.
• Manage daily sales activities including order tracking and logistics planning.
• Secure new orders and ensure customer satisfaction and delivery.
