Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to bridge engineering knowledge with commercial execution across global customers. You will provide application support, customer training, and technical consultations throughout the sales cycle, working with Regional Sales Managers, Customer Experience, and Field Service to move opportunities from discovery to order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in technical sales or applications engineering.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions and communicate value.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, qualification and advancement of sales opportunities.
• Conduct technical discovery discussions and assist in forecasting sales goals.
• Deliver customer training, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Prepare quotations and supporting documentation with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain CRM records and collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Service teams.
