Job summary
SPX FLOW is seeking an engineering-focused technical sales professional to support our sales organization, distributors, and end users with product selection, quotes, and technical information for APV and Waukesha Cherry-Burrell lines. The role involves field demonstrations, training, and occasional travel to customer sites.
You will use engineering knowledge to size equipment, respond to inquiries, and propose cost-saving or performance-improving solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field and 2 years of related experience.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities for technical sales contexts.
- Ability to read engineering documents and perform basic sizing and quoting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, sales, and technical support to sales teams and distributors.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, communicating pricing and delivery details.
- Deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Assist training of sales reps and customers with technical content.
- Travel to client sites as needed to support sales and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive equipment sales and product development.
